I ♥ NY

On the way to Buffalo, on the plane I could see half frozen lakes.
I was so happy to eat this huge pasta within 10$. Many things are so cheap in Buffalo I guess. Maybe the reason would be becuase I had traveled around NY.
Buffalo was really quiet city as you can see in this picture. But, all of people I met in Buffalo were so nice.

There were so many Canadian flags everywhere in Buffalo along with American flags.

It was really beatiful and amazing actually than being shown in this picture. I heard it is said 'The stairs of Heaven' in Japan. I thought it was suitable expression for this scene.

It was Canada on the opposite side of us. They looked so resplendent becuase there were many casinos and duty-free shops for travelers who wanted to go either of two countries.
And finally I saw real Niagara Falls at freezing night. It was great falls so I couldn't keep mouth shut. There were Niagara laser beam show which made the color of the Falls to red, yellow and blue.
I ♥ NY

Metropolitan Museum which made me feel lack of time to see all of great works. That made me think I should come to NY again someday though.
In the Mary Poppins Theater

It was much better than my expectation. I loved Mary Poppins, and I really wanna recommend to watch this one if you come to Broadway in NY. I was almost about to cry when I was wathing this. I was really envious the actors and actresses
who had much talents to be able to show.
who had much talents to be able to show.
Here is the 'Mary Poppins' movie that I found on Youtube. I like this song. It is likely to be recovered from any cold if I listen to this song.

I ♥ NY

I forgot the name of this park. Anyway, it was the park before we go to see Statue of Liberty.
Good picture, but I don't wanna recommend you to do that. It was 5$ to take three pictures with that human statue. I thought it would be charity to give money freely, but that man asked me to put 5$ into the box for granted. Sometimes I really don't wanna give money to street artists when they consider to be given money for granted or they ask me to give money in reture for making mylife more delightful though it is me who have to decide the worth of paying.
Statue of Liberty was a gift from France to celebrate America's independence. It is just amazing to picture how people conveyed the statue from France to America one hundred years ago.
Luckily, that day was St. Patrick's Day which was for Irish people in USA. So, we could see many people who wore green clothes or at least holding something green.

There were long parade on the 5th Ave. I heard that this parade started from 40's St. to 80's St. It was typical parade, which was not decorative expensive parade like a Macy's parade during Thanks giving days.

This is St. Patrick Church. It was a magnificent church that I had ever seen. I wished I had been able to enter inside, but it was so packed.
I ♥ NY

This is Grand Central Terminal and also the place the first scene of 'Gossip Girl' was taken. Yes, I still like high school drama. Doesn't it mean I am still young enough to be addicted teenager drama?

Except 'Gossip girl' story, Grand Central Terminal was exquisite.

One piece of 3$-New York pizza was enough to be my holy bread.
Korean Embassy which was located one block before United Nations
This building didn't look like United Nations. We would have doubted about that if we had not seen some flags in front of this building.
'Ban Ki-Moon'
What is his nationality?
'The Republic of Korea' or 'South Korea'
He is the first Asian chief of the UN.

The flag of South Korea was together with the flag of North Korea.

UN Tour was recommendable.

This is UN General Assembly. If there is a meeting at tour time, visitors are not allowed to visit this place. Fortunately, we could see the place.

On construction the new building in substitute for collapsed World Trade Center.
We could see many people around World Trade Center because it was near Wall-Street. It just reminded me of a subway station in Seoul.

We went to Soho to see live music performance. The name of club was 'The Bitter End' Tomomi said this club was famous though it looked small and not that fancy. But, many famous musicians including Norah Jones used to sing this place. When we went there, there were an event for young musicians named 'Song writes circle'
So, we could listen to many songs of several young musicians. They explained about why they wrote the song first, what is the meaning of the song name, and then they sang in turns. They played irregular style of music which was unique, fresh and interesting. It was our first time to take a rest since we came to New York because we had to go around a lot, and finally we could enjoy music sitting on the chair with some beers. It was literally a heaven on earth.
